The following results were by observation GOT, GPT, ALP, LDH, T-cholesterol and triglyceride in serum to research the effects of medicines which are usually used for liver disease Injinoryong-san (Sample I) and another medicine (Sample II) of
which
Injin(Artemi-sae Calillaris Herba) was increased in quantity on liver damaged by CC14 in rats.
The significant effectivenesses were seen of inhibitory action on the GOT, GPT, ALP, LDH and triglyceride in both Sample I group and Sample II group. And comparing the results of Sample I group and Sample II group showed more significance in all
items
of this experiment.
As mentioned above, it seemed that Injinoryong-san inhibits the metabolic activities of the toxic material in the body, and its effect protecting liver was recognized also.
So, it seems that this medicine can be used all sorts of liver disease including hepatitis, and more researches on variation according to the increase of Injin dose and more observation on clinical use must be continued.
